A Day of celebration indeed, congratulations to our American GA family, finally you have the equal rights you so deserve. The ruling is the Supreme Court’s most important expansion of marriage rights in the US since its landmark 1967 ruling in the case Loving vs Virginia that struck down state laws barring interracial marriages.
This is an amazing step forward for the global movement for marriage equality and one can only hope that my Prime-minister here in Australia (that bumbling Abbot Chap) will see the light and listen to public, his ministers and even his Lesbian sister and allow us the right to marriage equality.
